Lilya’s mom was an alcoholic and didn’t take care of Lilya and her sister. From first to fifth grade Lilya lived in an orphanage. She never went to a dentist, her whole childhood.
Thankfully, a year ago a foster family took in the two girls, and Lilya began going to the dentist. But Lilya’s new foster family doesn’t have enough resources to cover all her dental care. Last Bell provided advocacy and funds to make final repairs to Lilya’s teeth. She’s so grateful! Here’s her smile right outside the dentist’s office:
Lilya loves Last Bell, and almost never misses a Day Center activity. She also comes to church every Sunday. Lilya says, “There’s no better organization than Last Bell in the whole world!”
